About Beechrow Homes – Timber Frame Construction Specialists
Our Story
Beechrow Homes was established in 2009 and since then, we have constructed hundreds of builds in this time – from significant commercial ventures such as hotels through to bespoke, one-bedroom bungalows. We have also project managed full-build construction and turn-key builds, giving us a unique and detailed knowledge of other trades, their requirements, and dependencies within a build programme.
We are proud to be frequently nominated by a number of timber frame manufacturers and suppliers as their preferred installer.
Building a strong foundation
James Clinton and Jim Connelly have worked together for decades, establishing Beechrow Homes based on a shared vision and passion for timber frame systems. Together, we bring a combination of expertise and talent, including joinery, specialist construction skills relating to timber frame, technical knowledge, experience of full-build project management, and excellent communication skills.

James Clinton
COMMERCIAL DIRECTOR
James served his time as a finishing joiner with expertise in shop fitting. He became involved in timber frame construction when he met Jim, some decades ago, enjoying the rewarding work of constructing new homes and buildings. James focuses on the fine details of each build and the commercial aspects of the business.

Jim Connelly
CONSTRUCTION DIRECTOR
Jim has 40 years of experience in construction, starting as an apprentice joiner on a construction site. He graduated toward timber frame construction when the current systems approach was in its infancy. Jim enjoys, and contributes to, innovation within timber frame construction and loves a difficult site. Unusually, he is often seen running towards a challenge! He specialises in logistics and problem-solving.

Community and Social Impact
Both Jim and James provided pro-bono support and expertise for the innovative development of the Barnardo’s Gap Homes Pilot in Scotland – creating additional housing for young people leaving the care system. The programme is now a UK-wide venture to build 50 houses that will improve outcomes for young people at this crucial transition.

How we manage your projects

We immediately work through your designs, outlining any issues that we may foresee, in order to provide you with a realistic quotation. It is helpful if you can provide us with any plans you may already have from your architect. We believe strongly in building a good working relationship with our clients, from the initial enquiry.

Once you have entered this process. We would be available for any further consultation that you feel you may need. An example of this would be to give impartial advice on any questions you may have from the design and manufacture of the project.

We never come to your site without a plan being in place first. RAMs risk assessment is initially carried out. We take into consideration access and egress, Offloading machinery and scaffolding requirments.

Once the erection phase is complete, one of our managers visits the site to complete a sign off of the works. During this phase, should there be any snagging required this will be addressed, or if you have any other concerns regarding your build, they will be available to help.
